Our plan was to spend one week of climbing during the beginning of April 2003 in the Calanques in the south of France. We had beautiful weather on the first day of our climbing trip which we spent in Sormiou:

Unfortunately the weather started to deteriorate during the next two days:
On the fourth day of our trip and before we had taken any climbing pictures, it started raining. Meteo France forecasted nothing but rain for the coming days in the South of France, so we decided to search another place to go climbing. We headed back towards Belgium and stopped in Saffres near Dijon. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't quit what we had hoped for... (pictures).
Some practical info. There's a good camping site in Cassis (Camping Les Cigales). The topo of the Calanques can be bought in the shops in Cassis. Finally, if you want to buy maps of the region, the IGN TOP 25 maps 3145 ET and 3245 ET are a good choice.
